ok as the title of the post suggest, last week was the time when Drew goes Domestic! hahaha...
weekends here are AWESOME!!! never fails to be filled with lots of fun. Friday was especially crazy. On one of the lecture, the lecturer didnt come at all! so some group of crazy aussies went out to the front to do some crazy stuff. Then one of them plugged on an MP3 into the PA system and blasted the music. They turned off the light and some people started dancing. Then one of them took the OHP and he clicked it on and off to create the lighting effect. haha...
seriously the whole lecture hall was in a havoc. The lecturer only came in half an hour later, and he was like "the rest of you keep silent, while i try to figure out what i will be lecturing today"
really sia... he said he wasnt informed tt he will be lecturing, so this shows the lack of planning the uni does. But still, he can lecture impromptu quite well.
okay then ultraspecialawesome PO-PAY-YAH (popiah) PARTY with my bible study group!!! hahaha... we did the grocery shopping before sunset and then went to Yvonne's place for the cooking session.

den medicine socity happens to have an event at the same time called Relay for Life. We are supposed to walk round and round and round the village green from 4pm tt day to 10am next morning. haha... full 18 hours but split up into groups.
ohwells missed it. but I came awhile after the popiah party to give support and show my face up and then zhao home to slp, so they wun think i pon haha...

yup! then saturday had an intensive mugging session w my peeps again from morning to dinner time, then went beat's hse for MOVIE MARATHON! hahaha...
took us a long time to find a way to play the movie on the TV, since there is no dvd player around, so i have to offer my laptop!

haha she really has ALOT of movies, and i think they are left behind by the previous tenants haha...
in the end we watched: She's the Man (love this show its soooo brainlessly funny!); Fun with Dick and Jane (Jim Carrey but the show's spastic) and High School Musical (my all time favourite XDXD)
yup haha was really deep into the show that we forgot the time and it got really late and dangerous to walk back home. So we have to stay overnight haha... but brother jordan decided to walk back home alone wearing his cap and hoody to create the badass image so tt no one dares rob him. LoL.
Then today after church, we went to boon's house for his suprise bday party haha... it was really funny. We got him to come out of his house and plan to pounce out towards him behind the bushes, while some ppl inside the car will turn on their headlights as he walk along the pavement. It would have been a nice plan, except that he got to the wrong side of the road... =.= haha...

on a side note, medicine has been really enjoyable haha... we had lots of interesting practical session. One time for lecture we had a guy suffering from spinocerebellar ataxia (that disease from 1 litre of tears) to give us a talk on his life experience as part of our scenario-based learning. He came in on a wheelchair and the whole lecture hall turned silent. Basicaly he can only move his head and some of his fingers.
