ok first of all for those of u who have not watched season2, forget reading this cuz u wun be able to understand haha... I did a heroes season1 review before so i shld do for season2 oso.
Although the series is now currently only up to episode 8, i am impressed beyond words so i want to start the review NOW!
Oh and btw i got a feeling that heroes might stop temporarily at episode 13. why? because the writers went on STRIKE! talk abt dissatisfied brilliant writers. The same goes for Grey's Anatomy also, and i cant rmb which other title is also involved. but anyway back to my point.
most of the points i adapt frm wiki since they always v complete. and also i try to keep this review absolutely SPOILER-FREE. ermm... at least minimise it.

Monica Dawson
Powers: copycat
she can learn everything that she sees, and mimic it in action. Of couse she cant copy superpowers, but who knows.
The way she discovered her superpower is cutest! She watched this WWF show her bro was watching in the morning. Then when she got robber at night she did the exact same move. Then she was like ohwtf o.O rofl
Maya Herrera
Power: Curse
This is an emo power. She kills when she is threatened and she cant control it. Her eyes will go totally black and she will tear out black blood. creepy!
Thats why she is travelling from venezuela to US in seach for a cure from Dr Suresh. and of all ppl she met sylar along the way to ask 4 help.
Alejandro Herrera
Power: idunno
Twin sister of maya. He is the only survivor when maya discovered her powers and unwillingly killed off the entire family during his wedding. Because she felt threatened.
He can calm her down and absorb her curse, but still ok ok wun die de. He can also cure/revive the victims of the curse, but not if its too late.
Takezo Kensei
Power: Immortality
This character is deep. Wun explain much here, but if wan to read more i will put it under Spoiler Alert section. I dun even know for sure whether he is good or bad.
Elle
Power: Electric Manipulation
This character is cute but sad at the same time. She is a sadist, mild one though.

She likes to give her 'lover' a jolt of electricity. Probably prefers that than kissing. Like she keeps pleading to increase the voltage then the 'lover' also bopian. That 'lover' happens to be the imprisoned Peter Petrelli. saddd
And she was imprisoned in the facility since she was 8, so she had no proper childhood. She still has this childhood mentality in her and was so amazed and giggly by her first kiss, which turn out to be a plot used by Peter to escape. saddd

Powers: Power Absorption, and later on, Retention
Hiro Nakamura
Powers: Space/time continuum manipulation.
In layman's terms, he basically teleports and can travel through time. Yes stop time oso so he pwnz!
Claire Bennet
Powers: Tissue Regeneration
she is damn chio, imo. And the part she plays is cutely done too.
Plot
Season 1 recap
This is going to be the main theme for the series, so listen well.
In season1, its all about a nuclear catastrophe where Peter Petrelli uncontrollably unleashed his nuclear power he obtained frm Ted Sprague (now dead) and caused a population decimation in New York. The city will be dead (hellgate london style, except not even a single human/demon).
They knew this coming by studying Isaac Mendez clairvoyant paintings and the future Hiro travelling back to present to warn the present Hiro, and the present Hiro travelling to the future himself. All seen and predicted, and all come true. Its how they break from their foretold destiny thats awesome.
And let me say again because of Hiro Nakamura who can break the space/time continuum, the storyline is no longer linear. So its bits and pieces of the past present and future jumbled together. U have to fit the pieces. But they all link well and make absolutely perfect sense.
I have never been so impressed by a storyline. probably the brilliance of naruto and deathnote and fate stay night. Sadly not bleach haiz... think its good but not as impressive. Anyway, i digressed.
Season 2 plot
Like season1, it involves population wipeout. In season1 they did introduce the Shanti Virus which killed Mohinder Suresh's little sister. Then he realised his blood was the cure. But then, he injected his blood into somewhere somehow and created a new strain of virus which is deadly and, most importantly, can affect the normal humans instead of just the mutants.
(i'm not v sure on this, i am abit blur oso. But thats good since there wun be spoilers haha)
Kinda like the Legacy Virus from the X-Men
There are 7 more 'secret' clairvoyant paintings of Isaac Mendez which the forever-evil Company has confiscated. And all shows the visions of the futue, in which 3 out of 7 has came true this far.
And Peter Petrelli who has absorbed Hiro's powers travelled to the future and saw the population being wipeouted. But slightly better, at least 10% survived. But the city is dead and the survivors are being kept in camps while the remaining virus-bearers are LEFT TO DIE IN BIOHAZARD CAMPS. homg!
Peter Petrelli: O.O *stunned*
And the thing is Peter Petrelli has lost his memory after the Haitian forcibly removed them 'for his own good' So he is still kinda in shock with each of his 'new' rediscovered powers which he absorbed in season1. poor soul. have to handle all the shock.
Prologue
(this is what happened strictly in episode 1 & 2 only)
Peter Petrelli woke up in a cargo container, chained up and memory all lost. Cant even identify himself. And he was taken in by a group of gang mobsters, in which he will fall in love with bigboss' sister. How cliche.
Nathan Petrelli walks off perfectly fine thinking his brother Peter is dead.
Hiro Nakamura went to the ancient japan era of Takezo Kensei. He was a legend in japan hero, but he turned out not as what he expected. He is a GAIJIN (angmoh) and he is a DRUNKARD+COWARD. den Hiro was like uh-oh and tried to instill heroic values in him. Things get omg-asmic afterwards which i wun spoil. But he fell in love with Takezo's supposed lover in ancient Japan History, the blacksmith's daughter. more DRAMA but this is NEW omg NOT A CLICHE I LIKE IT TEH VERY MUCHXORZ
DL Hawkins is dead. Niki Sanders left her son Micah in the house of his cousin Monica Dawson (the one w mimicry power). While Niki went to The Company (omg the forever evil Company) in search of a cure to her split personality.
Monica Dawson's realisation of her power was convered up there. But she and little micah are so cute. When she thought that there are smth wrong w her den Micah enlightened her. hahahahaha... to be taught by a younger cousin.
Anyway both started to appreaciate their own powers.
who else... i did maya and alejandro and elle. That leaves one more...
TAKEZO KENSEI
*takes a deep breath*

as i said he is a gaijin, he got immortality and he is a drunken coward. When in history he is recorded as a v brave warrior. How can that be? Hiro's intervention! what else can it be.
Anyway Hiro tried to change Takezo kensei so much that he ended up being recorded as the real Takezo Kensei by the blacksmith's daughter. and YUP THEY BOTH FELL IN LOVE BUT THEY CANT BE TOGETHER! saaad but i am desensitized liao... (not that i watch alot of drama)
So... is Takezo as sloppy as he looked? Is he really some drunken dork? Is his powers like Claire Bennet or even Linderman?
find out in the episodes of.... *drum rolls* HEROES!!!
But anyway to say how powerful this character is, they say that the previous episode's antagonist, Linderman, was his disciple. so think abt that. And he survived thru the warring era when he met Hiro Nakamura because of his immortality.
Oh and back to the basics of the episodes, Jap said that the first 13 will be more about the previous generation of Heroes.
this is the takezo kensei mark which has become an important symbol in the series, so watch out for this...
haha watched all these in justin's house and we kept discussing about all these and even more of marvel stuff haha... so i feel a need to blog all these down.
and haha all the pics i get are frm wiki one. I didn bother googling for their best pics, though i have alot in my com in indo. i chiong season1 in 2 days there. mwahahaha...
