In His Hands
just came back from mission trip from cianjur haha... things there are quite pleasant. It gets very cold in the morning, omg. Even can see smoke when u talk. But then it gets irritatingly hot in the evenings. Haha... we get to play arnd with the village kids too, naughty bunch of them. Headache sia, but FuN! haha...
And then there's us, the Brothers and Sisters in Christ. haha... its so much fun hanging around with them. haha... always laughing every single possible moments. Their wit and humour is so amazing. Maybe its because indonesian language is crude in nature, so even normal sentences sounds really funny.
Not all moments are fun though. There are also moments when it is quite sad. We did door to door visit to talk to the families there. Its quite sad, tales of their children that died, sick people that are unable to afford regular visit to the hospitals. but the most common one is lack of education. There are no high schools around that is near to the village, so travelling there would normally take 2hrs, so 4hrs back and forth.
anyway its a joint mission trip with korea, so yeah haha... there are koreans there ... 8 of them and they are amazing. no translaters around so most of the time we talk by sign language. haha... and they can sing omg beautiful voices. we eventually did recordings with handphones.
