curse of the purple puberty

hmmm nothing much to do nowadays...
When u look at the clock ticking and feels that it should have gone abit faster, you know that you simply has too much time...
(shall get to the title of this post later)

so i accidentally found these cds that weiyang lent me slightly a year back... supposed to watch it and pass it to ying (who is dying to watch), but nvr found the time to watch and so kinda forgot abt it totally :P
Jap drama called Nobuta no Produce.. Its not my style to watch drama but since i have too much time so why not haha... kinda nice actually.

Synopsis:
It is alot abt friendship. It is a school life drama so it is easy to relate haha.... The story is abt this 3 friends, one is the most populat guy in class, and the other is an irritating yet funny gay. Both of them, out of pure boredom, are trying to transform this new shy transfer student into one of the hottest popular girl in school.
Very funny and very amusing. haha... not that long, 10 episodes in total.
Very touched by how close their friendship are, even though there are lots of lies and bitching and misunderstanding that come between them. haha... eventually it is a class thing. (kinda glad i am in 14o5 haha.... we exist in peace!)

wad i generally like abt jap shows is the slow pace of the show. Even a simple scene as tap water dripping can have a calming effect. 2 guys fishing by the longkang tells alot abt their friendship. Oh the peace and tranquility!

now... comparison between japanses school and singapore school....

japanses school usually have access to rooftops. Alot of things can be done there. haha... like socialising among closest frens, secret flirting. even suicidal intents can be resolved there. Amazing! sadly singapore dun have T.T teachers say" students slip and fall den die how? =.=

japanese school oso have secret classrooms or secret staircases where nobody wan to go, and uaually the saddest person would go there alone to emo. Sometimes romance oso can develop there if lucky lucky guy meets girl. Singapore where got? everybody is everywhere!

Most Distinct Difference: japanese school usually no canteen! so the guys usually have the privilege of having the girls bring kawaii lunchbloxes for them, and so the guys are lovely fed, and romance will develop further. Or girls can sometimes express their crush to a guy oso by giving them selfmade sushis and tempuras ala love =D side effect is usually the saddest guys have to starve to death becoz no girl wanna feed them and nowhere to buy food T.T
Singapore leh? bell ring already everyone chiong to queue. canteen is hot, noisy and packed, so totally no privacy no freedom. The romantic vibe is lost. romance can probably only develop while queueing for food when the guy allows the girl to cut queue.

some jap cliche is juz so cliche already... haha. I have watched enuff animes and probably some jap drama le.
Just like bollywood movies and coconut trees. haha... (I think yaya is probably pissed with this stereotyping le :P )

juz watched the Phantom of the Opera. Simply AMAZING. godlike indeed. THe acts are flawless and the songs are nice. haha...
love the acts and songs, love the chandellier drop, i thought i was gonna die. good thing i didn scream or else i no more face to see the world.
Some elements of magic too. THe phantom managed to blast himself and dissappear. He can project an image on a mirror and then appear right out of it. The last disappearing act also stunned me haha...
Overall... it is well acted. But there is this part the phantom's cape kana hooked to a bench and he kinda choked, briefly. I was trying not to laugh haha...
The actor for Raoul i thought wasnt as good compared to the rest though. His voice lacks style.

But the teception right before the show was good. Free champagne and wines and all, i almost got drunk *hic*
And some of the food was amazing.

See the center one? Each glasss has a shrimp marinated in wine.... yumm! haha... ate at least 5 glasses of it.

Watched 200 pounds beauty oso right before Phantom, with ying n sis, nian and fel. Haha... of all shows to watch, it has to be korean! but ok lah its not as bad as i would have thought.
Instead of the cliche lovey dovey, mushy wushy lovelove crycry story i tot it would be, it is abt the struggle of a fat woman who turned to a beautiful sexy chiobu. *woots* There is meaning behind the whole point, but the show kinda glamorises plastic surgery which is WRONG!!!
but still, worth watching for the fun and humour =D dunno how this show can make some ppl cry, but it did.

many wld ask wad is with the title of this post. hmm... getting emo with dramas is juz probably me grappling with puberty. yes!
curse of the golden flower... curse of the black pearl... curse of the crimson butterflies...
seems like i have to assossiate a colour to the curse of puberty. and since purple is my favourite colour and they happen to rhyme perfectly, so tadaaa!!!

seems like i have been watching too many shows le lately haha... i shall repent!

Left his memories on 10:39 PM|
~ It's just a goodnight and not goodbye ~

Song

New Song in My Heart
Emu Music

1. Put a new song in my heart
Let me hear the praises start
Dispell the night
And give me light again

2. Put a new thought in my mind
Help me leave the past behind
And break these chains
That I might live again

Lift my fallen face
and help me to stand
Flood me with the grace
That comes from your hand
Cleanse me from my sin
Lord, forgive me again
That I might be yours alone

3. Put a new fire in my soul
Make this wounded spirit whole
And help me see
That I am free again

Let these broken bones
Rise up and rejoice
Bring this captive home
And lift up my voice
Help my spirit sing
Now to Jesus my king
For he has forgiven me

Lift my fallen face
And help me to stand
Flood me with the grace
That comes from your hand
Cleanse me from my sin
Lord, forgive me again
That I might be yours alone
