Whoohoo!!! After 1 whole week of preparations by my class, it's Family Day!!!
Came to school at 8, and the place is already full of ppl. My class' stall is already set up. WOW! I am impressed by my class' efficiency.
I am also impressed by the stupidity of the councillors. First activity of the day is a DANCE which we did 2 months ago during orientation. How the hell are we supposed to remember every steps. Worse still, we did it in the field. SO DAMN HOT!!!
End product: mass stoning! Haha! Even the councillors are hesitating with their moves. Good Job.
I realised that the carnival is not open to the public, just for AJ ppl and their family. Another brilliant idea. Spend so much funds to set up such big carnival, and not letting the public ppl in. So, basically, we were just rotating the funds around the school, more or less. HA!
My class did a game stall called "Touch Me If You Dare". The player is supposed to guess the item inside a box by feeling it with his hands, without looking at it. We spent so much % of our budget buying prizes, but came out with easily-guessable items. Once again, lack of planning. So, our expensive prizes were soon swiped away. In the end, me, myself and I have to come up with something harder to guess. Mashed marshmallow with egg yolk. Dough mixed with squashed tomato. And my masterpiece: Sponges marinated in tomato juice, egg yolk, seaweed, and mud. YUCKS!!!
I also pity the class' walking advertisement. Wearing the advertising board that wrote "Touch Me If You Dare". He got touched and harassed by ppl everywhere he goes.
Clement's stage performance. WOW!!! Super nice! The crowd is very wild, singing along, jumping, screaming, shrieking, whatever... He sang 5 songs consecutively. The singers that sang after him were totally thrashed, burnt to ashes and thrown backstage to rot.Yupz, literally.
I went to try out the hounted house. SO FUN!!! and Scary! A whole block dedicated to haunting. 3 classrooms joined together to form a haunted maze, then extend up to the next floor, another 3 classroom. The place was dark and cold with eerie music playing. Took around 15 mins to go through the whole thing. A lot of bloody ghosts, zombie along the way, chased around the maze by knife-weilding CLOWN. All are so well-made and played that the whole thing was perfectly scary.
However, the fun part was not the scariness of it. It is- US!!! We screamed, shrieked, yelled, wailed A.loud.A.P. every single step, throughout the whole thing, from start to end. Purposely, just for the fun of it. Heard that some of the "ghost" can't take our screaming, got scared and ran away from the room. When we finished, we got scolded. Haha. But who cares, we had fun. We spend the money for the fun of it.
NUS research today was canceled. YAY!!! But I still have to go for scouts back in Cat High. Nothing much happening in scouts today. We sawed and chopped woods for the campfire firewoods. Then build a 5m structure and tear it down. Go home.
